Q: How do you keep people talking about a product long after your launch? A: You move it online and include an opportunity for user-generated, thumb-stopping content which will help produce digital impressions and engagement for months, and even years to come.
Unless you were hiding under a rock in early 2019 then you would have heard about one of the biggest brand collaborations of that year – Drumstick and Gelato Messina. The team at Ian Kanik enlisted us to help produce social content that would get (and keep) people talking about the products long after the launch ended. We worked with their team to provide a suitable photography solution – a bespoke video booth – that integrated perfectly into their set. What was that you ask? Oh just a custom designed freezer room filled with the delicious product of the hour.
The whole atmosphere helped to pump up the hype and brought smiles to everyone involved. Branding was applied to the beginning and end of the video captured, as well as the opportunity for the user to enter customisable copy to take it that one step further beyond cool (see what we did there?).
The overall result was a completely unique experience where participants walked away with a one-of-a-kind piece of social content which was instantly sharable and totally eye catching. We even achieved an over 60% share rate which is almost unheard of
