For TEDx Sydney, we collaborated with Belle Laide Events to celebrate the partnership between Virgin Australia and Delta Air Lines. With over 5,000 attendees expected, we designed a custom video booth experience that captured the spirit of the event’s theme, #HumanvsDigital.
The Brief.

How We Did It.
We built a Custom Emoji Battle Video Booth, where:
Participants stood before a screen and replicated sequences of emojis (increasing in difficulty) while being filmed
The challenge tied perfectly into the #HumanvsDigital theme, blending fun with digital storytelling
Once complete, guests instantly received a link to their personalised video via SMS
Virgin and Delta incentivised sharing with the ultimate reward: a flight for two to Los Angeles
